Juventus: soon duel with Barça for Llorente. Inter Milan: Paulinho in January
As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus have finally decided to renounce to Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, but they have not renounced at all to the Spain national; the bianconeri had no intention to pay the 36 million euros clause added to the 27 year old’s contract, but the player’s deal with the Basque club will expire in June 2013, so the Serie A champs will be able to sign the Spanyard for the next season as a free agent starting februaty 1st. But, as reported by Sport, also Barcelona have the same idea, and many other clubs will be interested in signing for free a player that until yesterday was evaluated almost 40 millions. Yesterday the Piedmontese club did not succeed in selling 26 year old left wingback Reto Ziegler, but the Switzerland national could still leave, considering that in some countries, like in Turkey, the Summer transfer window is not over yet. Same situation for 29 year old Uruguayan winger Jorge Martinez, who could join Romanian side Cluj.
