Serie A, Juventus set new defensive record
These figures become even more impressive if we consider that the bianconeri have allowed two goals against Inter, which means they’ve only conceded goals in three of their opening nine games this season.
After their last 3-0 win at expenses of Empoli, Juventus have set a new defensive record.
They are the European club that have allowed the fewest shots on target so far, allowing their opponents to make just 10 attempts towards Gianluigi Buffon’s goal.
The Old Lady are the less beaten defence in Serie A, though their direct rivals Napoli have the most prolific attack of the league with 15 goals scored in the opening six games.#Juventus have only allowed 10 shots on target in #SerieA games so far this season.#EmpoliJuve live: https://t.co/9caMbd5ogK pic.twitter.com/IIEu7WH9Dg
