Juventus preparing offer for Herrera
Juventus need January midfield reinforcements and according to Fichajes.com, Porto’s Hector Herrera has become their top priority.
The 26-year-old Mexican international has been subject of much transfer speculation from Italy with both Napoli and Inter also being linked with possible moves last summer. The bianconeri have also been monitoring his progress and after months of waiting patiently in the background, now look set to make their move.
Herrera joined the Portuguese club in 2013 from Pachua and has made 84 appearances so far scoring 16 goals. He’s also been a regular part of the international set-up since 2012 clocking up 46 appearances for his country, scoring four times.
Since Paul Pogba’s summer departure, Juventus have been linked with several big name midfielders including Axel Witsel (Zenit St Petersburg), Blaise Matuidi (PSG) and Riechedly Bazoer (Ajax). Herrera has made no secret of the fact that he would relish a move to Serie A and now Turin has become his most likely destination should he finally get his wish.
