Juventus: Pjaca’s recovery taking longer than expected

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the recovery of Marko Pjaca is taking longer than expected and the Croatia International could be ruled out for several more weeks. The Italian paper claims that the Croatia International could return to action in January leaving Max Allegri short of options in attack until the January window opens.

Pjaca picked up a fibula injury in October while on duty with his national team. The former Dynamo Zagreb’s injury was initially thought not to be a serious one, but medical tests highlighted a fibula fracture which will force the Croatian starlet out of action for several more weeks than expected.

Croatia doctor has recently hit out at the Old Lady’s medical staff claiming that they did not believe Croatia’s medical report that had diagnosed Pjaca with a fibula fracture.

The 21-year-old promise has yet to score his first goal with Juventus as he joined the J Stadium in a € 23 million move from Dynamo Zagreb last summer.
