Juventus, Milan, Roma chase Torino youngster Barreca

Torino’s Antonio Barreca has made a lightning start to his 2016-2017 season, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down anytime soon.

As Tuttosport indicate, the former Cagliari youngster has attracted the interest of Juventus, Milan, Roma and Sassuolo, enough to push his club to force through a new deal to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico.

The former Cagliari loanee has made the most of injuries to Cristian Molinaro and Danilo Avelar to grab and hold the starting spot on the left, where his performances have attracted attention from all over. Currently earning a measly 100k a year.

Barreca joined Torino’s academy at age 7, and, coincidentally, rejoined the Granata when they topped Cagliari’s offer… a mere seven minutes before the end of transfer deadline day!

Agent Marcello Bonetto is now negotiating an improved five-year deal.
