Juventus may be closer to acquire Dzeko
Juventus transfer campaign is facilitating the acquisition of Edin Dzeko. The negotiation with Olympiacos for Camoranesi could be closed soon, whereas the transfers of Tiago, Trezeguet and Grygera could take a bit longer. However, they are all important steps to acquire the striker of Wolfsburg, who is waiting for Juventus' moves. Manchester City are still courting him, but Dzeko prefers Juventus.
The Italian club general manager, Marotta, explained the situation: "If we were forced to choose between Krasic and Dzeko due to the limitation to non-EU players, we will go for the forward. However, it will be a difficult negotiation because the German club's request is very high, but we count on the players' intention".
And Dzeko's intention is clear. He has already told Wolfsburg and in an interview with Kicker: "I want to clarify that this is not a matter of money, but of ambition. I feel this is an important moment in my career and I want to play in a big club. I am sure that Wolsfburg will make me happy".
