Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri responds to Zaza criticism

Here’s what Massimiliano Allegri told media after Juventus’ 2-0 win over Carpi.

“The game was difficult because it came after a week of celebrations. We had rested for some days, but we can’t forget that we still have a Coppa Italia final to play.”

“We’ll have to play better against Verona next week. We allowed them too many shots and we have to be more concentrate.”

“There will be no problems over my contract extension.”

“I am happy because we’ve made a great season. We need to remain focused and remember that AC Milan have played two great games against us this season.”

“Rugani is not struggling anymore. He had to change his mentality, here you always need to have an attacking mentality and not running behind.”

“I had much more patience than Zaza this season, you have to be competitive to be part of a big club and understand that sometimes you can play less and some other you can play more.”

“He scored a decisive goal against Napoli, it is his first year in a top club and he’s aware that there era very strong players here.”
