Juventus-Lyon: the probable starting line-ups
It’s match-point for Juventus this evening as they host Lyon on matchday four of the Champions League. A win for the bianconeri at the J Stadium will see them qualify for the last 16 of Europe’s premier club competition.
It’s also a landmark game for legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon who makes his 100th appearance in the completion, whilst striker Gonzalo Higuain will be looking to score his 100th goal since moving to Italy in 2013.
Coach Masimo Allegri is set to deploy midfielder Miralem Pjanic in a more advanced role this evening with the returning Claudio Marchisio set to play his preferred holding position in front of the back-four. With the 30-year-old in the starting XI for the bianconeri, they have lost just one of their last 32 games in all competitions and that was to Sevilla in last season’s Champions League.
