Juventus: Its N'Zonzi for January
Juventus want to give coach Massimo Allegri an important new midfield signing in January. Already linked with Witsel and continuing to study Kessie, the bianconeri are now focusing their attention on a new target; Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi. Juve chiefs have seen the 27-year-old up close on two occasions this season having faced the Spanish side in the group stages of the Champions League and the fact that there is a buy-out clause in his current deal of €30 million, makes him now the priority target.
What makes any potential signing even more favourable is that the Spanish club are willing to accept payment in two instalments. The Iberian press state that any potential buyers could make an initial down payment of €15 million followed by a second instalment of the same amount in the summer. N’Zonzi would not be eligible to play in the Champions League for Juve of course but with both Lemina and Asamoah heading to the Africa Cup of Nations in January, a signing of this quality could make perfect sense.
