Juventus drops Matuidi but not his agent Mino Raiola
Matuidi, 30, can’t play in Champions League and PSG are still not open to sell the French midfielder either. Juventus are set to drop the midfielder they’d been chasing for the whole summer transfer window, especially when Paul Pogba left the club to join Manchester United.
The Old Lady is more likely to seal the transfer of Axel Witsel who could arrive at a very cheap price given that his contract with Zenit St. Petersburg expires in June 2017.
Juventus have already found agreement with the player and if the Russian side do not allow the Belgian to move to Juventus in January, then he’ll go to Juventus as a free agent at the end of the season.
Despite Matuidi’s blow, however, Juventus are still going to negotiate with the player’s agent Mino Raiola in the future. The Italian players’ agent has a long and interesting list of clients and the one that Juventus are the most interested in is definitely AC Milan’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
