Inter: Ranocchia wants to stay. Juve: idea Mustafi
Also the future of Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri –as reported in the last days- remains uncertain, but, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the club’s president Erick Thohir wants to give continuity to his strategies and could decide to extend the contract of the contract of the 52 year old, even if this latter has not been chosen by him. Meanwhile, the nerazzurri keep on working to reinforce their team for the next season, and the Indonesian tycoon himself has told Total Football that he could sign some compatriots. Inter’s priority remains in any case the signing of a new forward, and, as outlined by La Gazzetta dello Sport, they are in competition with Juventus for Manchester City 28 year old Edin Dzeko and Real Madrid 21 year old Alvaro Morata: regarding this latter, Thohir is expected to meet the merengues’ executives to talk about the young player, who, on the other hand, doesn’t seem intentioned to join a club that won’t take part to the Champions League. In the mid time, 26 year old defender Andrea Ranocchia has assured that he wants to remain at “San Siro”, even if the Italy international has been quite elusive about the possibility to extend his deal with the nerazzurri. Ranocchia is particularly admired by Juventus, who, to reinforce their defense, could then swoop on Sampdoria 22 year old Shkodran Mustafi: the Germany international could be signed during the next transfer market and left on loan at the Ligurian club until 2015.
