Juventus, good-bye Higuain! Inter and AC Milan, Strootman on stand-by
Juventus seem to have lost their last chance to sign Real Madrid 24 year old striker Gonzalo Higuain, who has been convinced by Jose Mourinho to remain at the Casa Blanca. Still regarding their offensive line, Juve are intentionned to keep 29 year old striker Marco Borriello, actually on loan with right to buy from AS Rome. The Capital's club ask 9,5 million euros for the player, but if it will accept to reduce his evaluation, an agreement could be found. The bianconeri are still uncertain about the future of 25 year old forward Sebastian Giovinco, actually in co-ownership with Parma. On the other hand, the Italian champions are about to sign Brescia 19 year old goalkeeper Nicola Leali.
Interviewed by calciomercato.com, Chiel Dekker, agent of PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman, has denied any contact with Inter and AC Milan, and has declared that, in any case, a decision about his client's future will be taken after Euro 2012. Regarding the possible departures, Atletico Mineiro, according to Ansa, have offered 6 million euros to Inter for Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan, while also Getafe, according to the Spanish press, seem interested in Romanian defender Cristian Chivu.
