Juventus keep on seeking a new midfielder, also considering the possible departure of 21-year-old Paul Pogba, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Zenit St. Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel: as reported by Sportmediaset, the bianconeri are about to carry out the negotiation for the former Benfica player, valued about 18 million euros by the Russian club; another option for the Serie A defending champions could be Manchester City 27-year-old Samir Nasri: as reported by the Daily Mail, after losing their last chance to win the Premier League, the Citizens could let the France international (who earns about 4 million euros per season) leave. The Piedmont’s club is also seeking a new forward, and –still according to Sportmediaset- before tonight’s Champions League game against Monaco, its executives have had the chance to talk with the rouge et blanc’s Chief Executive Vadim Vasiljev about 29-year-old Radamel Falcao, currently on loan with right to buy at Manchester United but that won’t be signed on permanent basis by the Red Devils. Also Inter Milan are seeking a new forward, as 21-year-old Mauro Icardi –as reported in the last days- could be sold during the next transfer window: according to La Nazione, the nerazzurri could replace the Argentina international with Fiorentina 29-year-old Mario Gomez.
