Juve want Barzagli for front office when he retires
Andrea Barzagli has been one of the first names on Juventus fans' lips for a while now. Coming off a brilliant performance against Inter, the injury-plauged centre-back has been playing vintage football of late, even knocking one in against Atalanta, his first Serie A goal in four years... when he also scored against the Orobici.
With the Fiesole-born defender already agreeing to a two-year-extension with the Old Lady, reports are now coming in that he may remain in Turin for much longer than that.
According to Tuttosport, it wouldn't be as a player: the 35-year-old is being touted as a future member of the front office. Imagine that: not only have Juve acquired one of the best Italian defenders in recent years for a mere €300.000, they may well have added a savvy member to their staff.
