Juve, Vadalá: the heir of Tevez returns to Argentina
One year on and we return to talk about Guido Vadala, the 19-year-old striker who arrived at Juventus from Boca Juniors last summer as part of the deal that took Carlos Tevez back to his boyhood club. After a season with the bianconeri, the player dubbed the “new Messi” has not convinced coach Allegri and his staff. Vadala spent most of the time under the wing of Primavera coach Fabio Grosso but apart from a few glimpses of his undoubted ability, it was a disappointing 12 months in Turin.
STILL ON-LOAN
Vadala is on-loan to the bianconeri who will pay Boca €3.5 million at the end of the year for another season. The champions have the right to buy him outright before April 20 next year for a total of €9.4 million. It’s very difficult to see this scenario happening at the moment given that the club has decided to send him back to Argentina for a spell with Club Atlético Unión in Santa Fe.

The youngster now has ten months in the league he knows best to try to convince Allegri and company, that he’s worth investing in for the future.
