Juve: update on Götze. Inter: Nakatomo could leave

As reported yesterday, because of the physical problems of 33-year-old Andrea Barzagli, Juventus are seeking a new center back, and one of their options seemed to be 31-year-old Heiko Westermann, whose contract with Hamburg has recently expired: according to AS, the German defender is about to sign for Real Betis Balompié. The bianconeri are also working to reinforce their team’s flank, and, as confirmed by the same media, have carried out the negotiation for Atletico Madrid 29-year-old Guilherme Siqueira. Another priority for the Serie A defending champions is the signing of an attacking midfielder, and, as well known, their main targets for such position are two German players, Schalke 04 21-year-old Julian Draxler and Bayern Munich 23-year-old Mario Goetze: the Bundesliga defending champions’ Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has declared that –at least for the moment- the Piedmont’s club has made no offer for the World Champion, and that he doesn’t know what is in the player’s mind; the executive has also confirmed his club’s interest for Juve 19-year-old winger Kingsley Coman. Finally, as reported by calciomercato.com, 21-year-old center back Daniele Rugani has extended his deal with the bianconeri until June 2020.
The situation of Inter Milan 29-year-old right back Yuto Nagatono remains uncertain: through his Twitter, the former FC Tokyo player has been quite elusive about his future; Galatasaray seems to be the most probable destination for the Japan international.
