Juve target Saponara: 'I'd like to stay in Italy, but..'

After some difficult years at AC Milan, the 23-year-old attacking midfielder Riccardo Saponara has found his ideal dimension at Empoli: recovered by Maurizio Sarri last year, now he is having some great performances with his new boss Marco Giampaolo. At the end of the season, the young player will leave the azzurri to try once again to make an important step for his career.
Saponara, who is also tracked by some foreign clubs, told Lady Radio: “Will I stay in Italy or will I move abroad? All I know is that the next one is also going to be my last chance, so that I will have to choose the best project for me. I would like to remain in Italy, but if I would receive a better offer from abroad, I would definitely evaluate it”
Regarding the possibility to play for the Italian national team, he added: “It’s well known that I do my best as an attacking midfielder, and Conte doesn’t need such kind of player. I am calm about it, I know that in any case I will have a chance one day”
