Juve, Official: Bonucci out for two months
It’s not only Dani Alves that faces a long time on the sidelines at Juventus after it was confirmed that Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci will be out for around two-months after picking up a thigh injury in Sunday’s 3-1 defeat in Genoa. The bianconeri issued a press-release which stated that; “It has emerged that Bonucci has injured the femoral biceps in his left thigh and the recovery time is 45/60 days. We will issue an update when we have carried out new tests”.
Dani Alves fractured his fibula in the defeat at the Marassi and he too will be missing for the next few months. The club has stated that they will have a clearer indication on his recovery time when they get the radiographic results.
These new injuries have rounded off a miserable weekend for coach Massimo Allegri who saw his side capitulate in the opening 30 minutes of Sunday’s game. It may also alter his transfer strategy for January.
