Juve: still keen on Luisao. Inter: chance for Podolski

One of Juventus’ priorities for the next transfer window is the signing of a new center back, and, as well known, are ready to swoop again on Benfica 33-year-old Luisao: the Brazil international has just one and a half years on his contract with the Aguias, and –as reported by Tuttosport- has no intention to renew it; the main alternative to the former Cruzeiro player remains Manchester City 21-year-old Matija Nastasic. Perhaps, as outlined by calciomercato.com, the bianconeri are thinking about loaning out to some Portuguese clubs those young players (especially non EU citizens) who are not ready for the Italian championship. The Serie A defending champions are also seeking a winger, and remain attentive to the situation of Bayern Munich 22-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri: as reported by Tuttosport, the Switzerland international is not getting many chances to play in Pep Guardiola’s team and could be sold for about 20 million euros. Meanwhile, interviewed by calciomercato.com, Parma 18-year-old striker Alberto Cerri, actually on loan at Lanciano, has declared that joining the Piedmont’s club would of course be a dream, but that he doesn’t know anything about its interest.
Inter Milan keep on working to reinforce their team’s offensive line, and could have a chance to sign Arsenal 29-year-old Lukas Podolski: the Germany international, in fact, has expressed his disappointment for not playing regularly, and could then leave during the next transfer window.
