Juve, Cuadrado is getting closer with Lichsteiner nearing an exit
We still wait to see who the midfield reinforcements will be for Massimo Allegri. Juventus are close to bringing back Juan Cuadrado and the player has agreed personal terms with the bianconeri. His agent is in London to try to finalise the deal with Chelsea on whether it will be another season-long loan or a loan with an obligation to buy outright.
LICHTSTEINER EXIT?
Should the 28-year-old Colombian arrive then it could spell the end for Swiss international Stephan Lichtsteiner. With the summer acquisition of Dani Alves, places on the right hand side are filling up rapidly and the former Lazio man looks to be surplus to requirements after five trophy-laden seasons in Turin.
BETWEEN THE BUNDESLIGA & CONTE
With his contract due to expire next summer, Lichtsteiner will now look for a new squad this season; Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 are two possibilities, but the 32-year-old is hoping that he receives the call from his former mentor Antonio Conte at Chelsea; the Italian tactician only really has Ivanovic and Azpilicueta as right full-back’s and the Swiss man would look to be a perfect fit at Stamford Bridge.
