Juve, Cuadrado can return. Bentancur postponed until 2017
Juan Cuadrado left Juventus on June 30 after his loan-spell in Turin expired. CEO Beppe Marotta has always been keen for the Colombian to return and has maintained contact with his parent club Chelsea ever since. The player is also open to a move back to Serie A but the problem is the price; The Premier League club want €25 million but Juve prefer to take him back on an initial loan-deal with a view to a permanent move next summer.
NO BENTANCUR..FOR NOW
Meanwhile the race to sign Boca Juniors midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur looks to be postponed for the moment. The 19-year-old Uruguayan is wanted by both Juve (with who there is a “Gentleman’s Agreement) and Milan, who have already tabled a €13 million bid. The Buenos Aries club want to hang on to their highly-rated youngster for at least another season so it seems the Serie A duo will resume hostilities in 2017.
