In this phase of the summer transfer window, Juventus are seeking a new midfielder, and, as reported in the last days, their main target seems to be Wolfsburg 29-year-old Luiz Gustavo. However, in the last days there are more and more rumors regarding the possibility for the bianconeri to sign Paris Saint-Germain same-aged Blaise Matuidi, suggested to the Serie A defending champions by his agent Mino Raiola, the same of Paul Pogba.
The French club evaluates the former Saint-Etienne man –who has two more years on his contract- at least €30 million, but as the player keeps on asking to leave, the Ligue 1 defending champions could finally accept a €25m offer. However, also Zenit St. Petersburg 28-year-old Axel Witsel remains a concrete option for the Piedmont’s club.
