Juve, Bayern & Barca: an auction for Pjanic
Yesterday Juventus raised the Coppa Italia after beating Milan; now they face another stern test as they go into a bidding war for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
THREE-WAY BATTLE
La Gazzetta dello Sport explains that it’s not only the bianconeri who are interested in the Bosnian international as they are joined by Bayern Munich and Barcelona. The €38 million buy-out clause inserted into the player’s contract will not be a problem; it will be the personal terms offered that will make the difference.
AND IN ROME
At the moment, the giallorossi can only observe, they cannot do anything else apart from offer the renewal which, the pink journal explains, is a long way off. Any business that is undertaken will need to be done by June 30, because Roma want to avoid more sanctions imposed by UEFA in regards to financial fair-play.
