Juve: keen on Johnson. Milan: also De Jong could stay

As outlined by calciomercato.com, Juventus are evaluating the possibility to replace their right back Stephan Lichtsteiner, whose contract will expire at the end of the current season; according to the Spanish press, to replace the 30-year-old, the bianconeri are thinking about Barcelona 31-year-old Dani Alves, while, as reported earlier, an option for the Serie A defending champions could be Liverpool 30-year-old Glen Johnson, who is also about to become a free-agent: the England international, as reported by the Daily Star, has told his current club that if he won't receive a concrete offer to extend his deal, will evaluate the possibility to try an experience abroad (also Napoli are after him); moreover, the Piedmont's club could decide to swoop on a young talent as 22-year-old Davide Zappacosta, actually in co-ownership between Atalanta and Avellino and playing for the Orobici; finally another option could be AC Milan 27-year-old Ignazio Abate, who is perhaps assisted by Mino Raiola, the same agent of 21-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba, and the eventual transfer to Turin of the Italy international could ease the negotiations between Juve and Raiola himself for the extension of the Frenchman's contract; as reported earlier, Abate has become a key-player for the rossoneri, who would like to renew his deal, as well as the one of 29-year-old midfielder Nigel De Jong: the Dutchman, who during the last transfer window has been tracking by Manchester United, is ready to reduce his salary to remain at "San Siro" with a longer contract.
