Is Milan veteran Paletta due another Italy call-up?
Though he gave away a penalty in Matchday 1’s 3-2 victory over Torino, the Rossoneri have now conceded only once in three games’ worth of play.
This surely has to do with young star Alessio Romagnoli being kept honest by a veteran presence, that provided by the Italo-Argentine.
Paletta is doing so well, in fact, that we wouldn’t be surprise if he were included in Italy Coach Giampiero Ventura’s next Azzurri squad.
The Buenos Aires-born defender has already played three games for the Azzurri, starting against England at World Cup 2014 in Manaus. Maybe just a coincidence… but it was Italy’s only win at the tournament!
