Who is pushing Marek Hamsik out of Napoli?
His side’s Slovakia will probably qualify to the last-16 stage among the best third placed and the Napoli midfielder has recently insisted that he wants to respect his contract with Napoli and that he considers Naples as his second home.
Fears are growing among azzurri fans, however, because the player’s agent Juraj Venglos has asked for a pay rise, despite Hamsik has recently extended his stay with the club. Aurelio De Laurentiis seems not willing to meet his requests and Juventus are monitoring the situation.
The Old Lady attempted to sign Hamsik last summer and could make a new move if they’ll sell Paul Pogba to Real Madrid or Barcelona. As CM.com Giovanni Scotto points out, Hamsik could be offered a € 5 million-a-year-salary, whilst the offer to Napoli could be set in the region of € 40 million.
Hamsik has two years left on his contract with Napoli, but Mr. Venglos would prefer to find his client a new team in order to raise as much money as possible, even if that would mean going against his client’s desire.
Will Marek Hamsik’s future be at Napoli or should we expect his San Paolo exit this summer?
