Inter want Modric, but the dream is Torres (if Milito goes)
Selling before buying is a good thing...but Benitez would be pleased with a “Welcome gift”.
The Nerazzurri seem not to be willing to invest 30 million euro for Mascherano. They like the Croatian midfielder of Tottenham, Modric. The English club ask for 20 million euro and will not give any discount now that the player has renewed until 2016.
Real Madrid and Inter are very distant in the negotiation for Maicon: Florentino Perez offered 15 million, Moratti asks for 35. However, the general feeling is that there will be a deal for about 30 million. The alternatives to replace the Brazilian defender are: Caceres, Glen Johnson, Ramires or Jonathan. Burdisso has reached an agreement with Roma. Muntari will be transferred because he is not in Benitez’s plan. In case the “right” offer arrives, even Diego Milito could pack his suitcase. Inter dream of Torres as his possible alternative.
Balotelli is being courted by Manchester City and Palermo’s chairman, Zamparini confirms Benitez’s admiration for Cavani. Next week Inter will close the negotiations with Parma for Mariga and Biabiany.
