After selling 23-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri and –most of all- earning about 17 million euros, Inter Milan are ready to swoop on Wolfsburg 26-year-old winger Ivan Perišić: as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the nerazzurri’s coach Roberto Mancini will call in the next hours his president Erick Thohir to confirm his will to sign the Croatia international; the main alternatives remain Napoli 28-year-old Dres Mertens and Genoa 27-year-old Diego Perotti, while Liverpool 24-year-old Fabio Borini seems intended to join Fiorentina or Lazio and AS Roma 23-year-old Adem Ljajic could be part of a swap involving 27-year-old center back Andrea Ranocchia; this latter, according to the Corriere dello Sport, is also a target for Liverpool and Arsenal. The Lombardian club is also seeking a midfielder, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Galatasaray 32-year-old Felipe Melo: the Turkish club, as reported by Habervitrini.com, has sent an ultimatum to Inter: either the player will leave within August 14, or he will extend his current contract. The nerazzurri are also seeking a new left back, and, still according to “La Gazzetta”, are ready to offer 28-year-old Danilo D’Ambrosio to Zenit St. Petersburg to obtain 28-year-old Domenico Criscito. After signing 20-year-old Alessio Romagnoli, AC Milan are now working to sell some of their defenders: one of the main candidates to leave “San Siro” is 29-year-old Gabriel Paletta, who, as reported by the same media, is intended to join Atalanta.
