Inter, Rudi Garcia wants Kondogbia at Marseille
In January, Inter look set to say farewell to Geoffrey Kondogbia. The 23-year-old Frenchman has failed to impress the nerazzurri and a parting of the ways looks inevitable. The player has already been offered to PSG in exchange for Krychowiak or Verratti and has also been attracting interest from the Premier League with Liverpool reportedly considering a move.
Now todays edition of Corriere dello Sport, claims that former Roma boss Rudi Garcia wants to take Kondogbia back to Ligue 1 to join him at new club Marseille. The 52-year-old has been in charge of two goalless draws so far and is desperate to add reinforcements in January to try to launch his side back up the standings in the second part of the campaign.
The players wage demands have already caused problems with other proposed moves however, Liverpool having already baulked at matching his €80,000 a week salary in Italy; whether a compromise can be made between the nerazzurri and whoever manages to secure his services remains to be seen.
