Having already lined-up midfielder Ever Banega from Sevilla, Inter are now close to securing a deal for 27-year-old Turkish left-back Caner Erkin. The player is out of contract at Fenerbahce in the summer and had already undergone a medical over a month ago. He is ready to sign a four-year deal worth €2.5 million net per season. The nerazzurri will decide whether to complete the deal after a transfer policy meeting with President Thohir scheduled for May 7.
 

Croatian Ivan Perisic looks set to stay at the club after stating that; “I have a contract here for five years of which I have completed one and I think I will be staying here. I football however, you never say never. If anyone is interested in me they will have to speak to Inter”. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are reported to be ready to offer bids of €30 million for his services; double what Inter paid Wolfsburg.  

Mancini wants an attacker who is competent in playing out wide. At the moment he has two players in mind; Antonio Candreva and Manolo Gabbiadini. La Gazzetta dello Sport declares that the Lazio man is in pole position despite interest coming from Spain in the shape of Atletico Madrid. His current club are believed to want €25 million for their Italian international.
 

Tuttosport writes that Stefan Jovetic wants to stay at Inter next season but the club are not willing to spend the €14.5 million which would bring him to the San Siro on a permanent deal. The Corriere dello Sport believes that after what looks to be an understanding between Thohir and the Suning Group, they will now make a move for Zhang Linpeng of Guangzhou Evergrande.
