Inter, Moratti wants Guardiola and Messi
Massimo Moratti still trusts in Leonardo, and he's not just being polite. He really believes in the Brazilian coach's ability and wants him to be part of the club in the future. It is not known in which role yet: as a coach or as a director? If he wins with Schalke he'll be automatically on the bench next season. However, Moratti has no doubt that Leonardo could be the right man to deal with the South American market and assume the role of special advisor.
As far as the new coach is concerned, Moratti has only one name: Pep Guardiola. Josè Mourinho's return is very unlikely; the Portuguese is too clever to go back where he won everything. Moratti admires Guardiola since Inter lost 2-0 in Barcelona in 2009. He will do everything to convince the former player of Brescia to come to Inter. His arrival could also bring Lionel Messi, another dream.
Guardiola + Messi, this is what Moratti wants to revitalise Inter's future. Guardiola in June and Messi in 2012. What about the "financial fair-play?". This shouldn't be a problem. Uefa allow that a club can spend whatever they want if they are able to have comparable income. Messi would be a huge expense for Inter, but he would also be an extraordinary source of income: at the stadium, merchandising, friendly matches around the world and the club's image in general.
