Inter Milan striker Palacio unlikely to join Boca Juniors
33-year-old striker Rodrigo Palacio is one of Inter Milan fans’ favorite players, but his future seems henceforth away from “San Siro”: the nerazzurri are in fact trying to rejuvenate their team, and the Argentine’s contract will expire at the end of the current season, so the Lombard club will probably just release the former Genoa player in June, when he could finally join his beloved club Boca Juniors. In the last weeks there have also been some rumors regarding the possibility for Palacio to join the Xeneixes during the next transfer window, and that for this reason Inter were already seeking a new forward. But, as outlined by calciomercato.com, such transfer could fail, due to the Argentine club’s financial problems; for example, 31-year-old Carlos Tevez has not being paid during the last two months.
