Inter still looking for Palacio's replacement
The 33-year-old is set to leave “San Siro” at the end of the season or possibly even earlier. During his trip to Spain, the Nerazzurri’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio got the chance to watch Bayer Leverkusen 25-year-old Karim Bellarabi.
Interviewed by Bild about the Italian club’s interest, the German international has declared that he is honored by the Nerazzurri’s interest, but that he is focused on his team only; in any case, the former Eintracht Braunschweig player has five more years on his contract with the Werkself.
Another target for Inter’s forward line seems to be Palmeiras 18-year-old Gabriel Jesus: basically an attacking midfielder, the young Brazilian can also play as an outside forward, the position currently covered in Roberto Mancini’s team by Palacio himself. Added to the player’s contract with the Verdão there is a €30 million release clause, but Gabriel Silva’s agents are trying to low their client’s price tag as they consider him ready for an experience overseas.
