The revolution at Inter has already begun overnight. The new owners have given the Ok for the dismissal of Roberto Mancini and the arrival on the bench of Frank de Boer. Mancini will leave with a year left on his current contract after rejecting a two-year extension offered by the club.
 

Yesterday, a new meeting with the former Ajax coach ended in the Dutchman agreeing to be Mancini’s successor. The 46-year-old will arrive in Italy on Wednesday and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, has already accepted a three-year contract earning €2 million in the first year followed by €3 million for the next two. The pink journal also states that former player Christian Chivu could come in as his assistant.  

The arrival of de Boer will not change the club’s transfer strategy and the nerazzurri still wait on the decisions of Brazilian striker Gabigol and Wolfsburg midfielder Luis Gustavo. Should both players agree to join, Inter will have a €50 million outlay to negotiate but the signs are promising that both will wear the nerazzurri jersey this season.
