Inter: Campbell farther. AC Milan: keen on Demba Ba

Inter Milan’s priority for the next transfer window is reinforcing their team’s flank and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the new name is the one of Borussia Dortmund 26-year-old Marcel Schmelzer, also tracked by Napoli and Spartak Moscow; the nerazzurri are also seeking a more offensive player, and their main options remain Chelsea 22-year-old Mohamed Salah, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 25-year-old Yehven Konoplyanka and PSV Eindhoven 18-year-old Zakaria Bakkali. The Lombard club keeps also thinking about Arsenal 22-year-old Joel Campbell, but –as reported by the Daily Express- it will have to compete with Liverpool, especially if the Reds won’t be able to bring Divock Origi to “Anfield” in January. The Costa Rica international is not the only Gunner tracked by Inter, who could have a concrete chance for 29-year-old Lukas Podolski, who has once again confirmed his disappointment for the few chances he’s getting to play. Meanwhile, the nerazzurri will have to face the situation of their midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who, according to the Daily Express, is a target for Real Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.
Also city rivals AC Milan are seeking a new forward, and, as reported by Amk Spor Gazetesi, the rossoneri have contacted the agents of Besiktas 29-year-old Demba Ba, also tracked by Liverpool and Monaco.
