Geoffrey Kondogbia is not in the Inter squad for tomorrow’s game in Genoa against Sampdoria. The 23-year-old could well be on his way out of the club in January and after recent comments by nerazzurri coach Frank de Boer that his squad is already too big, it seems the big Frenchman could well be one of the first names on the exit list.Recent reports from the UK suggest that Liverpool are interested in taking him to the Premier League in January, but Kondogbia’s currently salary of £80,000 a week could prove to be a major stumbling block. 
 

Since joining the club in 2015 during the era of Roberto Mancini, Kondogbia has never fully come to terms with Italian football and after his departure in the summer it was always possible that whoever the new coach would be, they would decide to dispense with his services. The big money signing of Joao Mario pretty much confirmed the Frenchman’s fate and this latest omission from the squad will only serve to speed up the process.
