Inter left €80m on the bench against Torino | by Cristian Giudici
Though Inter were able to win their first Serie A game since September last night, trouble still brews in the Nerazzurri’s dressing room.
One player should have reason to fear for his job: without Gary Medel, the trio of Marcelo BRozovic, Ever Banega and Joao Mario capably led Inter, without struggling either in defence or up front, where they had their most dominant game, managing 22 shots on goal.
There are others who can’t sleep easy at the moment: officially left out because of a muscle train, the talk has Geoffrey Kondogbia being left out of the squad because of friction with Coach Frank De Boer, who recently had a go at the former Monaco man for trying to do too many complicated things on the pitch.
The same goes for Ivan Perisic and Gabigol, which basically means that Inter left €80 million on their bench last night.
It is good that a Coach should use the players he thinks will work best, without thinking of their value. But what does this say of their recent attempts at building a winner? @CriGiudici, adapted by @EdoDalmonte
