Inter: Kovacic to renew. AC Milan: de Jong could leave
Inter Milan’s transfer market campaign doesn’t seem to be over with the signing of 29-year-old Lukas Podolski, whose transfert is expected for tomorrow morning: the nerazzurri are now seeking an attacking midfielder, and their main target for such position remains Bayern Munich 23-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri, with whom –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- the Lombard club are about to find an agreement: the Swiss international doesn’t seem in fact to be any longer a target for Juventus, and he prefers joining Italy than England. Inter are also seeking a midfielder, and –as well as city rivals AC Milan- are thinking about HSK Zrinjski Mostar 22-year-old Deni Simeunovic, as revealed by this latter’s agent Patrick Tadic to calciomercato.com. Meanwhile, another Croatian midfielder, the nerazzurri’s 20-year-old Mateo Kovacic, has assured to be happy at “San Siro”, and has admitted to be about to extend his deal with the Lombard club; Kovacic ha salso declared to admire Hajduk Split 22-year-old Tino-Sven Susic. Meanwhile, according to gianlucadimarzio.com, 24-year-old Yann M’Vila, currently on loan from Rubin Kazan, could leave during the next weeks. Another midfielder could leave “San Siro” during the current transfer window -AC Milan 30-year-old Nigel de Jong: as outlined by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri could decide to let the Dutchman –whose contract will expire at the end of the current season- leave if they would receive an offer.
