As reported yesterday, Inter Milan are ready to build a competitive team to convince their coach Roberto Mancini to stay; one of the nerazzurri’s priorities is signing a new defender, and, as reported by calciomercato.com’s transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, their main target for such position is Dynamo Kyiv 25-year-old Domagoj Vida: the Croatia international is admired by the 50-year-old coach himself and is evaluated about 7 million euros by his current club. The Lombard club is also working to reinforce its team’s offensive line, and, as well known, one of their main options is 29-year-old André-Pierre Gignac, whose contract with Marseille is about to expire: according to The Sun, West Bromwich Albions have offered a 5,3-million-euros deal to the Frenchman; another forward on Inter’s radar is Barcelona 27-year-old Pedro Ridriguez Ledesma, aka Pedro, but, as reported by Sillas Gol, Valencia have joined Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and the nerazzurri in the hunt for the Spaniard; on the other hand, the Lombard club keeps on dealing with the situation of 21-year-old Mauro Icardi, who, according to the Daily Mail, will be observed in the next days by Manchester United’s scouts. City rivals AC Milan keep on seeking a midfielder, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Empoli 28-year-old Mirko Valdifiori: this latter is also a target for Fiorentina, who count on their good terms with the azzurri.
