Inter: 'Jovetic type' clause for Juan Jesus. His Roma future is guaranteed
'JOVETIC TYPE CLAUSE' - The Inter shareholders meeting is now over and the 2015-16 financial balance was approved. Some deals were made public including the Juan Jesus deal to Roma. The defender moved to Roma on a loan with an obligation to buy once a certain condition is met. The condition is the following: Roma will have to buy him back if by February 1st 2017 or by the end of the 2016-17 season, they are situated within the top 17 teams in the Italian Serie A standings.
IMPORTANT FINANCIAL DEAL- It is a deal similar to the one that saw Jovetic join Inter from Manchester City. If all goes as planned, then Roma will have to dish out 8 million euros for Juan Jesus (plus the additional 2 million euros that were already paid for the loan). This is a good deal for Inter as they will make a 6 million euros net gain on Juan Jesus. This is an important fee for a defender who had been considered to be surplus to requirement at Inter.
