Joao Mario is getting closer to becoming an Inter player. The Suning Group has identified the Portuguese midfielder as the perfect reinforcement for new coach Frank de Boer. The man who has been entrusted to oversee the deal, Kia Joorabchian, has submitted a bid to Sporting of €45 million (between an initial loan-deal then full transfer) and the President of the Lisbon giants, Bruno de Carvalho, has arrived in Milan this morning to close the deal.
 

The 23-year-old helped inspire Sporting to an opening day league win last weekend in a match that looks likely to be his last for the club. Portuguese sports daily A Bola suggests the player could even debut for the nerazzurri in this weekend’s opener against Chievo.
