Inter: Handanovic for sale. AC Milan: Coentrao farther
After the game lost yesterday to Atalanta, Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has heavily criticized his team: as reported by Tuttosport, the Indonesian tycoon has named Cambiasso, Hernanes and Guarin, but, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the nerazzurri’s number one is also furious with the entire defensive line, including the goalkeeper Samir Handanovic; the 29 year old is going through a difficult period, and the Lombard club probably regrets the offer received last Summer from Manchester City and Barcelona: now this two clubs have already found their new goalkeeper, and the Slovenia international is worth 50% less than one year ago, but Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico de Madrid could still be interested in the former Udinese player. Meanwhile, Inter are negotiating with the agents of 27 year old midfielder Fredy Guarin to renew the Colombia international’s contract: according to Calcionews24, the two parties have agreed the length of the new deal but are still far from what concerns the player’s salary. Also city rivals AC Milan are going through a difficult period, and this morning there have been some rumours regarding the possibility to replace their current coach Clarence Seedorf with Cesare Prandelli. Meanwhile, the rossoneri keep on working to reinforce their team for the next season, and keep on tracking Real Madrid 26 year old left wingback Fabio Coentrao, but, according to the Daily Star, also Manchester United are keen on the Portugal international.
