    During the last transfer window, 27-year-old midfielder Fredy Guarin seemed intended to leave Inter Milan, but finally the Colombia international has remained at "San Siro"; even in the last days there have been some rumors regarding the former FC Porto player, for whom Juventus seemed ready to make a new attempt in January, but, interviewed by gianlucadimarzio.com, Guarin's agent Marcelo Ferreyra has declared that his client is not seeking for a new team because he is happy at his current club and is future is with the nerazzurri, with whose coach Walter Mazzarri he has clarified everything. Guarin could play as a second striker, as Mazzarri himself can actually count only on two forwards; even for his reason, the Lombard club is observing some free agents, like 26-year-old Innocent Emeghara, but the Switzerland international -as outlined by Ticinoonline.it- is also tracked by Torino and Fiorentina. Meanwhile, interviewed by calciomercato.com, 23-year-old center back Luca Caldirola, actually at Werder Bremen, has been quite elusive about the existance of a special clause to rejoin Inter, but has assured that he is happy in Germany.
    City rivals AC Milan -as reported in the last days- are intentioned to extend the contract of their midfielder Nigel de Jong, actually expiring at the end of the current season: according to Milannews.it, an agreement between the Lombard club and the 29-year-old is about to be found, and the Holland international should extend his deal until June 2017.
