Inter and Mauro Icardi look set to continue their relationship. As we anticipated on calciomercato.com a few days ago and reiterated in today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, the final details are being put together on a new deal that will be announced in September/October. The Argentine striker will get a two-year extension on his current deal to take him to June 2021.
 

After a summer that has contained so many twists and turns, Icardi will become the highest paid player at the nerazzurri earning €5 million net per season. New owners Suning, are also looking to insert a clause of between €80-100 million in the new deal to protect them from further advances for their star players signature.
