Inter have set their target on Armin Hodzic, the CM.com Balkan football pundit Aleksandar Miljkovic has revealed.

The 21 year old is the current Croatian First Football League top-scorer, having netted eight goals in just as many matches. He is a product of the Zeljeznicar’s academy, a club which have won the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League for six times.

He proved to be among the finest European prospects since when he was only 15. Liverpool pounced on the young Croatian starlet in 2009, following his amazing seasonal scoring record of 61 goals in 36 matches (including both club and youth-national team games).

Due to injuries and work permit issues, the Premier League club failed to make Hodzic a permanent move and the player could only train with the Reds academy during his short spell at Anfield Road. A few months later he completed his Zeljeznicar return, where he spent two seasons on loan.

In the 2013-2014 campaign, he played for Zeljeznicar’s senior team on a regular basis, netting 14 goals in 28 games and resulting vital for the club’s Premier League triumph.

In summer 2014 he signed with Dinamo Zagred, following a € 225.000 permanent deal from Liverpool. Due to a couple of serious injuries, he initially struggled to settle himself at the Stadion Maksimir, but once he overcame his physical hassles, he could  also restore his fame as one of the most terrific European hit-men.

Last week he made his senior Bosnia and Herzegovina team debut against Wales. While he could soon be regretted at Anfield Road, Inter have put the Bosnian hit-man’s name on their wish list.
