During the last Shareholders’ meeting, Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has confirmed his intention to invest during the next transfer window, despite having already spent an important amount last Summer. As previously explained, the nerazzurri need to sell some of their wingers and sign some full backs, and for this reason –as outlined by calciomercato.com- they are ready to swoop on Club Brugge 24-year-old Thomas Meunier. The Belgium international started his career as a winger, but –also thanks to his physical skills- has later become an excellent right back. The former Virton player has been a target for Napoli last year, but then he has finally extended his deal with his current club until June 2020. Some months ago, the nerazzurri’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio declared that Meunier was not at Inter’s level, but –according to La Capitale- the Lombard club's interest for the Belgian starlet is concrete.
