Inter close in on Bruma, target Karim Rekik!
This is a bit of a shocker: according to Tuttosport, Inter have decided to sell defensive star Joao Miranda. Borussia Dortmund are very interested in the Brazilian, and want him to replace departing centre-back Mats Hummels.
Inter director of sport Piero Ausilio's answer has been to take Inter very close to signing Jeffrey Bruma, the PSV centre-back who used to be on Chelsea's youth team. Ausilio's idea seems to be to guarantee an alternative before agreeing to hold talks about Miranda.
There is another hot name, however: that of Karim Rekik, the Olympique de Marseille centre-back and former Manchester City hopeful. Having also moved to PSV to get playing time, the 21-year-old has since moved to Marseille, where he has notched 21 Ligue 1 appearances and scored once.
Marseille are big fans of Juan Jesus, who could be used as a bargaining tool. Though Rekik has recenlty confirmed that he wants to remain in France, he is reported to be very enthusiastic about a move to Inter.
