Ansaldi set for Inter medical, deal imminent
Roberto Mancini is looking for a new right-back and the player in pole position to complete a summer move to Inter is Cristian Ansaldi.
According to reports and sources based in Italy, Genoa and Inter are close to find agreement for the Argentinean fullback.
Genoa signed Ansaldi to permanent deal for from Zenit last month (€ 4 million) and they have slapped € 8 million price-tag on the 29-year-old.
Negotiations are ongoing. Genoa have rejected Inter’s opening bid of € 6 million but the two parties are believed to be close to find agreement, so much so Sky Sport Italia reports that the player could undergo medical with the nerazzurri in the next few days ahead of signing a contract with the San Siro outfit.
