Inter, Acerbi is a primary target for January

Francesco Acerbi is one of Inter's main objectives as the Fifa financial fairplay rules will make it harder for Inter to sign any big international stars right away. Acerbi's time at Milan did not work out but he has been in great form since joining Sassuolo a few years ago. He is now ready for a new big team....

RANOCCHIA TO BE INSERTED IN A POTENTIAL DEAL? Sassuolo view Acerbi as being a very important player within their roster but he is not untouchable as coach De Francesco partially admitted :" The club confirmed to me that our important players won't be leaving but in football you never know for certain. Let's see what happens in January...". Acerbi's contract is set to expire in 2017 as Sassuolo will not want to lose him for free, which is something that might come into play here.

Ausilio is considering adding Ranocchia in a potential deal for Acerbi but the Inter defender is currently making a big salary for Sassuolo's standards. He makes 2.4 million euros net per season which is too high for Squinzi's club. Both clubs will talk about it again after Christmas as Sassuolo will be looking to get at least 15 million euros for Acerbi.
