Immobile: 'I'm happy in Turin, want to be called up with Belotti'

Former Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund disappointment has enjoyed his return to Italy. Sent back to Torino on loan by the Bundesliga hopefuls, El Ciro Maravilla has since scored five Serie A goals, reminding everyone of how lethal he can be when trusted with a start. 

Today, the 26-year-old told journalists that  he was “happy in Turin”. 

“I was able to return to the national side thanks to Torino, but I've regrettably picked up an injury since then. I've come back as quickly as possible to try to avoid missing the plane for France 2016. I hope I'll make it, hopefully with Andrea Belotti”. 

Speaking of the future, Immobile emphasized that “the only thing that matters is ending the season well and winning in Empoli. Belotti and I could form a nice attacking trio, Coach Ventura will definitely know how to get the best from us”. 

"Ironically, the team has done better without me!”.
